Workspaces

Overview​

A workspace is the mechanism for separating data per organization or tenant. Conversations, projects, users, groups, and all settings are independent per workspace and are not visible from other workspaces.

The selection and switching UI appears only if you belong to multiple workspaces. If you belong to just one, none of the steps on this page are needed.

Selecting a Workspace at Login​

If you belong to multiple workspaces, the "Select a Workspace" screen appears right after login.

  1. A list of the workspaces you belong to is displayed (the one currently in use has a "Current" badge)
  2. Click the workspace you want to use to enter the app

Switching Workspaces​

After logging in, you can switch at any time from the workspace selector in the header (building icon + workspace name).

  1. Click the workspace name in the header
  2. Select the workspace to switch to from the list
  3. The page reloads and switches to the data of the selected workspace

Note: Switching changes all data on the screen, including the conversations and projects in the sidebar. Any in-progress input may be lost, so we recommend sending it before switching.

What Is Separated by Workspace​

All of the following are managed per workspace and are not carried over to other workspaces.

  • Conversations (chat, Deep Research)
  • Projects, knowledge, and memory
  • Users, groups, and permission settings
  • Organization settings such as the available AI models
  • Personal access tokens (PATs)
  • External service integration settings

Opening a resource from another workspace​

If you open the URL of a conversation or research that belongs to another workspace, you will see "not found" or an explanation of why it cannot be accessed. In that case, switch to the workspace the resource belongs to from the header, then open it again.

PATs and workspaces​

A personal access token (PAT) is bound to the workspace it was issued in. To use external APIs in another workspace, switch to that workspace and issue a new token there. See External API Integration for details.
