Library and Shared Drive

Overview​

The "Library" section in the right panel of the chat screen gathers the sources behind the AI's answers and materials you can bring into the conversation.

  • Knowledge / Memory: search results for the knowledge (KB) and memory the AI referenced when answering
  • Context: a feature for bringing other conversations in as context (see Chat)
  • Shared drive: file space shared within the project

Note: The Library section appears only when enabled in the organization settings.

Knowledge and memory reference results​

When the AI searches knowledge bases or memory while answering, the number of hits is shown on the "Knowledge" and "Memory" rows.

  • Click the icon on a row to open "Library details" and see which documents and memories were hit
  • Use "Show source message" to jump to the message where that reference was used
  • Knowledge files that were hit can be previewed and downloaded

Shared drive​

The shared drive is a per-project file space. It appears in conversations that belong to a project and lets members share files.

What you can do​

  • Browse: navigate folders to check files ("Search by file name" is also available)
  • Upload: add files with "Upload" or by dragging and dropping from your PC (you can also create folders with "New folder")
  • Download: download individual files ("Download") or entire folders ("Download folder")
  • Organize: "Rename", "Move", and "Delete" files
  • Save chat files: on the chat screen, drag and drop chat / worker files from the right panel to copy them into the shared drive

Adding and deleting files requires the project's "Use" permission or higher (viewing is possible even with "View").

AI read and write access​

Files in the shared drive can be read and written directly by the chat AI.

  • You can make requests that reference files on the drive, such as "Read XX in the shared drive and summarize it"
  • You can also have the AI save its deliverables to the drive
  • Changes are reflected in the drive's display immediately
